Our Story

Romal was born and raised in India, and made Adelaide home in 2010. Jesna was born in India too, but spent her childhood soaking up the sun (and shopping malls) in Dubai before moving to Adelaide in 2017.

Our paths first crossed at church in 2019—a fleeting moment that was part of a bigger plan about to unfold. Friendship followed, then basketball, and before we knew it we had begun writing our story by 2020. Since then, we’ve stood by each other through every high and low, navigating life, weathering the messy days, and embracing all the little moments in between. Together, we’ve grown, laughed a lot and learned to love each other unconditionally and in 2024, we said yes to forever.

How do i RSVP?

Can I bring a plus-one?

We kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation message attend. As much as we’d love to include everyone, we hope you understand that we’re keeping the celebration intimate.

Where and when is the ceremony?

The wedding ceremony will be held at St. Joseph Church Punnakunnam, Alappuzha (Indoor) at 11:00 AM on December 30, 2025.

Where and when is "Starlit Soirée" (Night reception)?

The festivities will be held at KTDC Kumarakom Gateway, Cherthala (Outdoor) at 06:00 pm on December 30, 2025.

What is the Dress code?

Your best attire you can find. Formals and Indian outfits welcome.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please let us know on the RSVP form under “Special dietary needs,” and we’ll make sure you’re well fed.

Will Alcohol be served at the wedding?

Yes, we’ll have a thoughtfully selected range of drinks available for you to enjoy at the Starlit Soirée. If you’d like something different, additional beverages can be purchased at the venue. We’re excited to celebrate this special day with warmth, joy, and a toast or two!

Can we post photos on social media?

We’d love for you to capture the joy—but kindly wait until after the ceremony in church to share any photos online, to let the joy of our first look unfold in real time.

Yes, ample parking is available at all venues free of charge for guests.
